Yes ! I am an Indian Girl !

It is clearly stated that my target is on Indian society and it’s little hypocrite details and really to the core I don’t care, if our cultural heritage is million years old . But one thing is clearly observed by me as a girl in Indian society is – “We are curse” or more significantly “burden” to the Indian societies.

Yes , I am feminist . I support female rights and female equality and by that it doesn’t mean – I being”feminist” means domination on men or me being a lesbian and promoting feminism. We need to get our concepts and by “we” I mean “any Indian being who is part of this society thinking like this” .

“If a girl is raped or molested physically” that family has lost its “ijjat” , but as parents we never taught our , “boys” to be part of that “family “ijjat” too . We girls from our very young age is taught to behave in manners, to be polite, to dress up appropriately but on the other hand, if a family has a two year old son, he can roam house to house without wearing underwear or diapers showing his little willy, because according to the beliefs – “not having any shade of underwear makes his  manhood stronger and big” .

Seriously, should I face palm myself?

But if a girl is walking beside you in a crowd, and by mistaken her shirt’s first button slide open – these hypocrite men can peep into our curve valley and, “yes, that’s acceptable because it’s just a man thing”

Life of a adult girl:

“Hi, I am girl and I am 20 years old” !! – You are 20, you should married because decent girls don’t stay unmarried for long.

I am not against marriage or kids or having a family – but I am against those people and logic who tell girls that “getting married and having kids is the only thing in their heck life”. Get, my point?

Forcing a girl, to get a teaching degree because it will be easy access to her “in-laws” and “married life” is out of my logic.

Don’t smoke , don’t drink , get married in early time , listen to your husband because he is always right , have kids at appropriate time and make your husband , kids and in -laws happy – that’s a duty of a “sanskari” girl .

But for boys- “smoke whatever heck you want , make a girlfriend , be a player , have what sorts of physical relation you want with your girlfriend , if you want you can molest any her  , rape her , call a girl “slut” or “whore” , have a hippie lifestyle and then get married , dominate your wife, have kids and don’t be so responsible because it’s your wife’s duty to be responsible – life of normal Indian guy and shockingly it is “acceptable” in Indian society .

If a girl , is going through menstruation – she is dirty and she cannot go to kitchen or  worship God or touch pickle or it’s utensil -she will ruin it .

For the fact: If a girl is going through menstruation she is not dirty – it’s just her hormonal process in her body. GET YOUR WORDS RIGHT!! , she can cook whatever she wants in the kitchen and she can worship God too.

Because I don’t think so , any God out of 330 million has ever set out his rules as a disclaimer – “Ohh , girl you are menstruating – nah , don’t worship me today “. I believe in God and by that I mean – “God never treats as dirty or pure, he never sets a level of maintaining your cleanliness”. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!!

It pisses me off, when Indian parents got extra cautious and alert after , “Delhi rape case” towards girls . All guardians, teachers and parents – starts imposing a alert notice and list , to girls .

Where they could just teach their boys, “not to rape”.”Don’t you people think it is better to teach, ‘don’t rape’ instead of ‘avoid getting raped”.

Let’s wait for good to happen.
